Youth Latin & Ballroom with Ana Llorente
New Saturday Kids Latin and Ballroom with World Champion Ballroom Dancer, Ana Llorente. Open to boys and girls ages 6 and up. No partner needed. Learn Ballroom from the RUMBA QUEEN! Advance sign up recommended. $65/month fee. Sibling rate $55. $25 Registration fee per child.
Ms. Llorente started her dance career in Havana, where she graduated with Honors from the Cuban National School of Arts specializing in Modern Dance and Afro-Cuban Folklore, her extensive training and dedication gave her the opportunity to win a scholarship in Choreography at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, USA, this scholarship, coming from a USA based institution, was a completely unique opportunity for a Cuban citizen. The Cuban National institution of writers and artist, also gave her a recognition as the best performer and choreographer of her age after a very important and only invitational dance festival in Havana.
Today she is dedicating her talents almost entirely to Ballroom and all types of Latin dance instruction and competitive dancing. She has been invited to perform around the world at the Greek DanceSport Championship (Athens, Greece), European Championship (England), internationally televised prestigious Ballroom in Concert (Vienna, Austria), Italian Open to the World Championship, “Ballroom Fever” (City Center, New York), Dance Yuma Factory (Osaka, Japan), Heritage DanceSport Championship , PBS Television Special for USA Dancesport Championship, Canadian Open, International Dance Festival (Vail, Colorado) …among many others. Ana also has served as a Choreographer and Principal dancer in many MTV videos for Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Will Smith, Julio Iglesias, Chayanne, Vanessa Williams, Gipsy Kings in Concert, “Boleros” with Ricardo Montalban, famous Latin singer Johnny Ventura and she was the principal dancer of “Dirty Dancing”#2 “Havana Nights”.
Ana has won numerous National and International Dance honors and titles. She is the World Mambo Champion, Argentine Tango World finalist, Theater Arts runner up at Blackpool, World’s Exhibition and USA Nationals winner, American Rhythm Canadian Champion, and American Rhythm USA finalist.
Ana is currently competing professionally, performing and coaching other professionals all over the USA and around the world. Teaching and performing in some of the world Salsa Congresses and she is also involved in the PRO-AM World (Professional partnering amateurs for competitions and shows) .
Some of the students include USA International Latin and American Rhythm finalists. Ana is well known for bringing a real and authentic Latin flavor to the Dance World along with her understanding of modern choreography and its application to the body

Join the FUN, every Tuesday 8pm, Level 1 and 2 with Jimmy Rumba and Andres Nunez. teaming w/ Jimmy for Salsa styling and technique. No partner needed! No experience needed! Learn the basics to intermediate in a fun studio setting, that will get you dancing after one lesson! Learn footwork and partnerwork, styling plus monthly Bachata bonus lesson, mini class social, and more! Tuesday Night Salsa School Begins 1/10
One HOT night of Salsa Lessons. Now Salsa level 1 and 2 are on one night at Street Studio’s Tuesday Night Salsa School. Sign up now for each series or drop in.
Classes begin at 8pm. Salsa Basic 101 w/ Jimmy Rumba is PERFECT for the absolute beginner, as Jimmy breaks down the Salsa to the fundamental basics. Learn proper technique, footwork, basic patterns in this 4-class series. This class is for the beginner and advanced beginner Salsa dancer. After the warm up, beginners and advanced beginners are divided into groups for individualized instruction. Class is divided into BEGINNER and ADVANCE BEGINNER groups.
Level 2 class with Andrez Nunez is for the intermediate Salsa dancer. Students must be proficient with basics from our syllabus before advancing to this class. New patterns, footwork, partnerwork is the focus for the intermediate Salsa dancer.
Monthly Class Social and Bonus Lesson. Both classes will finish together with extra bonus lesson of Bachata or Cha Cha. End of each month will be a mini Salsa Social where students can dance, socialize, and meet students and instructors.
